While flying is actually a safe way to travel, this audiobook brings a discordant viewpoint to that reality with 17 tales of air-travel horror. Stephen King and Bev Vincent have gathered an impressive collection of authors who provide listeners with tales of murder, hyperdimensional portals, and, of course, gremlins on the wings. Brief ominous music prefaces each story, and each is delivered well by its narrator. King does double duty by narrating the introduction as well as his own story, "The Turbulence Expert," while Vincent narrates the afterword. Coulson, Fontana, Jones, and Stoll do most of the narration--professionals all, who manage to draw out the tension and horror of each story without histrionics.
